Ape’ing 🦍 to an airdrop or token is always fun but there needs to be more context on your $token in a GTM that features one. Outside of the biggies Eth, Sol, BTC, I really don’t have a memory store for referencing your $token to something I can understand value in which is still today core fiat like USD (cue stablecoins). An exception is taking ownership in a project you believe in after been convinced but not when the token is the front runner.

📍 Geographic proximity is underrated. 🌏 In a world obsessed with online-first everything, we’re sleeping on the value of physical closeness: Same time zone = easier to jam, sync, build momentum IRL meetups = deeper trust, faster alignment, actual human connection Shared context = similar laws, norms, and problems = faster problem-solving Yes, global communities are powerful. But don’t overlook the upside of building local-sub-communities too — they might get you to PMF or sustainable growth faster. Who’s building something meaningful near you that you know way more about because of this?

Stairs climbs and a 4km run around the bay this morning for 10/13 in March /commit challenge. Very excited to do my first run in well over a year with my wife after having a child. She is the one really going /higher here 👏

Love to get people's take here on this. People did the action to get $10 US, interesting fact will be : - How many continue to engage and go deeper in the /higher community - Do people add more, or buy $higher (Past 24 hours @rainbow tells me it's down 5-6%, mostly due to sell volume, buyers were up) Airdrops are short term/material growth but not sustainable unless one piece of a bigger campaign. Otherwise it's just a shooting star moment.

A good test for airdrop/rewards on Farcaster for /higher. There needs to be better filtering and split journeys: 1. Retention: user already matches, surprise and delight with airdrop 2. Acquisition: drive new or renewed activity with incentive 2 mechanics from 1 campaign I post often in /higher or /higher-athletics asking me to do again for a small airdrop quest feels like I’m not seen or valued 🤷🏻‍♂️
