Great piece that explains why you should read history. Not to "learn from the past's mistakes" as some tedious people think, but to correct this little quirk of the brain that tends towards doomsdaying.
When you read history, you realize, 1) some things are eternal and it’s better to come to terms with them than fret needlessly, 2) almost nothing is eternal, even and especially what was once thought eternal, and that progress is possible, solutions can be found, and we can make things better, and 3) everyone always thinks the world is ending, and they have always been wrong (so far).

❇️ VICTORY!
Truthfully, I'm devoid of emotions; all one could feel was sham-even in Dame's eyes, I know for sure not only was the reading being read like something surreal but, most certainly in mine too. Of course, the Oklahoma City Thunder, because of their youth, started floating before our eyes, having done a terrible implementation, while the fashionable Shay Gilgeous Alexander buried his head in the sand and didn't take the helm of the ship as befits a leader.
It's funny to listen to the conclusions: "if the long throws had flown", "if Holmgren had been here" Aren't you scared yourself? If in '87 Thomas hadn't passed the interception to Bird, if in '91 Johnson hadn't gotten injured, if in 2004 Kobe hadn't flown to courts, then. If grandma had an organ.
This will be beneficial for Oklahoma, as well as Milwaukee, because now the Bucks have a difficult task-to maintain this momentum and mood throughout the rest of the regular season.
And then, as they say, we'll see. 0 reply
