got a garmin to try and after 2-weeks can confirm: 1. nothing beats apple watch when it comes to accuracy across hr and sleep (while compared to medical grade devices). 2. garmin better at gps and battery. 3. for weightlifting, just use a chest strap eg polar h10.

easy to shit on @bryanjohnson but Don't Die touches on something no one wants to talk about: depression amongst men across generations and how exercise and diet are the most impactful cure to break the chain. if you are a guy whose dad/grandfather had any hints of depression: 1. exercise 2. eat clean 3. read this book
