Basically, Sprout is aiming to build a product like BlockFi or Celsius in a more transparent way that's onchain and clearly communicates where the yield is coming from to users 

Higher defi yields generally require more active management vs passive management but I'm excited about apps like Sprout trying to bridge this gap

Tbh I think DeFi yield is inherently too high risk for consumer apps like this

Hope someone succeeds but I have deep doubts

Less about adoption more about security. If you build a business around helping onboard to these exotic lending markets - you probably have to tandem build a deep insurance fund to cover potential losses

Fair point.  I have my concerns about this too but I think its worth exploring further.

Probably requires 10x stablecoin adoption imo

Too much risk, not enough reliability. DeFi yield needs a rethink for mainstream adoption.
