If you're feed quality is suffering from spammy or low-quality casts: 1. Where does this manifest? Trending? Recasts in your home feed? Recommendations from channels in your home feed? etc. 2. Are you unfollowing people? If so, is it still breaking through?

Some comments and posts on channels are repeats of the same phrase etc, wonder if those can be segmented? like if I go to a channel and everyoneโ€™s just saying gtm lol

Seems to be a lot of recasts and potentially following channels that may have degraded in quality. I need to spend some time unfollowing, muting and leaving channels.

I think all parts are now subject to an influx of spammy, repetitive and overall low quality casts, primarily after the release of frames. It is also becoming more difficult to discover quality new casts and casters, especially with so many airdrop/clout farmers getting equal (or more) traction vs quality ones.

i find the adjustment the most drastic in replies. more noise to wade through to get to substantive comments. it breaks up the mental flow especially if the main cast is meant to be thoughtful

Thankfully I haven't felt the need to unfollow people yet but I know it will come. About 80% of my new followers are 100% here to farm/spam. It manifests in home feed from recommendations occasionally. Staying out of trending since I know it's a mess. People I interact with should be surfaced ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป more frequently

Hard to say tbh. I've noticed it from all of them, and potentially its cumulative. Not unfollowing people yet, because it's kind of hard to tell where exactly the noise is coming from. Plus there's always an added social pressure to that (which is on me, sure, but I suspect most suffer from it).

/frames channel super hard to parse now. Distributing NFT mints via casts with frames is fun, but thereโ€™s a complicated mix of imagery and interactions in those casts (eg icons, text, embedded image, frame buttons, cast buttons). Not sure what the solution is, just describing the symptoms.

I find this leads me to just browse and interact in more specific (smaller) channels to large extent itโ€™s prob a function of where user growth is coming from, so might help to focus invites in high quality communities as much as possible

Channels, home feed. Muting a ton more people and wish mass muting was a feature and wish all channels would have option to see only casts from people you follow.

Spam casts, mainly from recasts, are visible on Home and Trending pages. When users engage in the โ€œlike + recastโ€ combo without realizing it. It seems that issue linked to airdrop rules. They require users often comment 'Amount + SYMBOL,' fueling spam for maximum rewards.
