If you've been paying attention to Apple long enough, you realize that most non-Gruber analysts trying to paint them as not much different than a Samsung don't understand the company has taste (the ghost of Jobs). big claim by me but: Apple’s headset and reality os will determine if “metaverse” is happening in the future. and if it is, what the UX will be like going forward b/c clearly others have failed at mr/vr ux so far with windows and mouse like pointers

Casual next gen AR/VR glasses or contact lenses would get my attention. Unless they’ve secretly made some material step change improvements, the core tech doesn't seem to be here yet though. At least not at a consumer mass market level like that iPhone was at release.

The neural engine is barely used, I think 15% right now. Imagine if each iPhone shipped with a local chatGPT or Stable Diffusion instance (2gb file)

Everyone in this thread claiming Apple is “behind” technologically because they don’t support/enable NFTs or whatever: that is a laughable position. Apple has better things to do, like sell phones and laptops with processors that are 4-6 years ahead of the rest of the industry.
