I asked this as well a few days ago on here. The replies were some combination of: 1. Inappropriate from a politician who is supposed to be protecting the people. (Sort of illogical reasoning to me given $TRUMP, but okay) 2. The size of this rugpull was egregious and removed meaningful capital from the crypto economy that could have been used in better ways.

The grift was so strong with this one that even those who were nominally in the trenches got burned. Then, the Coffeezilla/Hayden Davis interview revealed staggering cynicism; it left me speechless even if I generally assumed the worst of these guys.

I get the Argentinos being upset. They’ve suffered through terrible governments and leaders and many were hopeful about Milei. So probably hard to see him fall for this type of shit. Think it’s because at this point in the 20/21 cycle, we were in the “everyone’s a winner” phase of the market with 10-20x’s being common Now at the same point in 24/25, eth is 50% off its ATH, the “good” memecoins are down 70-95% from their highs, and every big launch is a pure rug. Sentiment is rekt.

The only ones who can afford any emotion are we, the everyday argentine people and the local crypto community. But it’s not anger, it’s a mix of frustration and shame. The worst part is lying, saying the token was an effort to boost the economy, claiming it would help small businesses and local projects grow.

i'm just amazed how these "crypto advisors" manage to get into the ear of presidents consistently rappers and celebs i get but i would assume a president picks like, a more reputable firm or does more research things seem like they have not changed at all since 2017
