Animated PFPs like yours are the culprit. If we turn them off, data usage would go way down. :)

Mobile doesn't eat monstrous amounts of data

Been having a ton of trouble with group chats lately. Frequently crashing the app on mobile and completely disappearing on desktop.

Is there an upper limit on suggested group chat sizes?

Your home feed is mostly people you follow, just re-arranged based on what you're most likely to engage with. As a %, very few people you don't follow should show up.

a chronological feed option (separate than home) so i can see what the people i chose to follow are casting without having to think of power badge or weird non-chronological sequence

Show recasts in home feed in addition to replies so we can discover other things from people we’re following

indicators of casts from users I'm not currently following; very effective so far.

How about a similar treatment for recasts? As far as I can tell, it's super weak. Currently the best way to signal boost a cast is via quote cast, taking all the engagement.

Group chats with a lot of messages are crashing the app. They’ve stopped doing the weird scroll and crash thing but still crash the app.

i'll keep repeating this.

farcaster hasn't captured breaking news or more complicated publishing yet. wish there was a simple feed just to get momentum. as far as more complicated stuff, probably a community-driven feature anyway.

if /gif does not have an owner it might be useful for him?

Warpcast needs a dedicated UI to manage embed links so we don’t have to waste characters within cast text on URLs.
