it’s wild the amount of content that gets ‘recycled’ as current news in most of the social apps for the sake of engagement — this is probably on the playbook of social media ‘gRowTh HacKeRs’. The newer the app, the more it happens as audiences change. haven’t experienced this on FC yet but dare to say it will eventually. on threads 2d ago / original news from 2024

gm! experiencing something similar to 2021 when it comes to different timezones and activity, but this time on Farcaster. right now, morning in Europe, everything feels so quiet, both IRL and URL. At around 18h CET, things really change. FOMO hits hard later on, as most convos happen on US ET/PT. there's no real conclusion here. 'it is what it is', they said.

spent most of the day on it. tweaking flow and interface, back & forths with claude to deal with some filtering. it felt productive. but key learning — or more of a reminder: this is still a prototype. the designer side was taking over at some point and it felt like I was spending too much time on unimportant bits. bc for now, that’s what they are. next: bugs and a couple of ux fixes, and then prepare for prod. we keep going.

happy to report that a prototype is in place, running on a local server. need some minimal UX/UI tweaking and I go for feedback. dont know if it's gonna lead somewhere, but it's just super cool to see it working! hint: it's art related, on Farcaster!
