have any spare testnet4 bitcoin? been solo mining for a month hoping to hit a jackpot no dice: tb1qzc43fqmnknd5sn3j3c99afuj0aneu3fv3h0w36 (would pay back with mega interest when block is hit)

now that bitflick is deployed and I can make testnet4 and mainnet inscriptions, I wanted to spin up a local regtest dev environment to build out the next feature (refund, child inscription, then create a collection) it was at this point that I realized that all of the extensions to the deployment had grown outside of what was available in localstack π trying to put something together that unblocks me here because at this point I am tired of spending "real" bitcoin, even testnet4

nothing says "self-sovereignty" more than demanding that a decentralised group of developers follow your instructions, for free, and then send death threats when you don't get your way.

restored a bitcoin core backup to prime my new nodes, also with latest core saw app errors noticed the txindex had been dropped took core out of service, restored, relaunched and again the txindex was dropped now practicing the art of doing nothing and letting it rebuild πͺ

continuing to plug leaky money faucets pretty sure I am going to need to implement the websocket thing sooner rather than later this is just from a handful of people idling with the page open and it polling at the very least, need page activity handlers, to stop polling when the user is not around

Inscriptions working, when electrs is up. Now that BTC is running well electrs is the weak link and I will fix. Mempool completely eliminated from stack. Still need to stand up ord. But still excited to see inscriptions starting to roll out Please be aware the this is still alpha technology, caveat emptor bitflick

I was in favor of bigger blocks, was intrigued by the segwit compromise, fell in love with zk via taproot, and support transactions that drive value to miners, ultimately raising the security budget knots is not bitcoin core because it is a fork, but anyone is free to run it

spicy core dev irc https://www.erisian.com.au/bitcoin-core-dev/log-2024-05-02.html#l-573 LukeJr asked to stop using the Bitcoin core translation service for Knots. Luke responds by removing other admins from the Transifex account and calls everyone bigots, repeatedly, for not believing that Knots and Bitcoin Core are the same thing Luke was removed from Transifex and the account was restored via unknown channels
