You pay $10/mo and it's distributed to all the casters you Like/RT/Follow that month. Funds are distributed evenly by default but you can customize to reward more to new users, trending users, folks you follow, etc. It's a multi-directional Patreon for FC. Would you use this?

It would drive engagement farming way up, the config for distribution would have to be intelligent to skew people towards certain outcomes. Though if it’s a bolt-on to Farcaster, it would allow for some innovation on diff approaches. But, I like the kernel of the idea.

interesting idea, a bit like brave's model like/retweet is not the same as something adding value to me or my feed, so it's definitely not perfectly aligned (joking) next step: ponzinomics if someone recasts & you get likes that pay you from that recast, then they get a cut of that payment

Can i propose a reverse version? A multi-sig control a FC account, collaboratively creating ,curating and promoting content. Any income goes into shared treasury. Possible to distribute everyone upon decision / periodically. DAO, the web3 social version.

yes, would def try out I think you could turbo-charge it with some non-linear economics, to say everybody gets minimum $1 back but the top like-getter gets 30% of the pool or something the unhinged get more unhinged, while the sane have to resist the demon pull of moolah

could be interesting if the way to _earn_ was also to pay this $10/mo and then that would incentivize good content creation where other subscribers would engage with your content and you'd get paid and vice versa Likely will result in some farming but the $10/mo set value is an interesting twist

It’s an interesting concept but I think the outcomes are misaligned. If I pay $10, that allows me to send money to others by engaging with them. But there is no guarantee that other participants of this scheme will engage with me so that I get paid. If that flow of motivations is fixed, it would be more interesting
