Onboarded to Zora and Rodeo's apps yesterday. Rodeo better for art. Zora better UX. Rodeo should steal Zora's tap to mint Zora should steal Rodeo's feed algo (mine was p fugly by default) Rodeo's flip is good idea poorly executed (a diff currency? Bad. Let me flip w/ credits)

99.999% of consumer products tend to zero, even those that retain utility. Which don't? 1. Cultural Significance: Luxury watches (Rolex), iconic cars (Porsche 911 nostalgic items (0G Nintendo). 2. Scarcity: Fine art, rare books, vintage collectibles (baseball cards). 3. Longevity: Cast-iron pans, premium knives, heirloom furniture. 4. Intrinsic Value: Gold, Bitcoin. 5. Timeless Innovation: Leica cameras, Fender Stratocasters. Utility + identity rarity = value retention.

or maybe these technologies really are dystopian? a few examples of prev paradigm shifts. 1. An interview w/ a quantum computing professor a few years ago on Odd Lots, basically framed QC as good for the end of privacy. when Weisenthal pressed him for actual, positive outcomes, the professor struggled. "Uhm, maybe there's like, some interesting diaries to read?" 2. Carmack on Rogan, similar question, "what's the use of VR?" Carmack struggled and said "well VR will be cool if you live in a trailer park, maybe your physical surroundings aren't so nice and you want to escape them?" I think, if pressed, you'd see those at the head of AI companies also struggle to articulate a vision for how these technologies are life affirming for anyone but themselves.

it used to be having bags meant you were values-aligned ... slowly starting to come around to the idea that the reverse is true hypothetical - in order for Ethereum to fulfill the vision (some permutation of @vitalik.eth 's DOPE acronym) it had to be a stable value. Staking + appreciation performed about as well as A-grade commercial bonds (~5%). Who makes the best decisions to fulfill that vision?
