Phishing attempt from an abandoned X VC handle still linked from their website DEADEND when asked to verify work domain Even though individual web2 platforms may support verifications, they loathe linking to others This is why we and others that embrace interoperability + user ownership will eventually crush them

Today we launched the ability to link a self-custody web3 wallet on icebreaker if you didn't use one already. We also added the following 10 channels: - behance because design is taste - /daimo so you can get paid! - /dune for the sql wizards (hello @yesyes ) - /interface because it's another cool app (1/2)

Yesterday we launched a major upgrade to how icebreaker represents accounts, abstracting from wallet addresses to DIDs There were no visible changes and the upgrade went smoothly Unlocked features incoming around more powerful account linking, verifications, and private sharing of curated data

Also name, pfp, and bio now autoimports to icebreaker when signing in with a social channel (like farcaster or twitter) as a new user. So when you sign in with farcaster, your profile automatically gets set up correctly.
