Any advice on these rows? Too strict or not strict enough? Should I be standing up more before rowing or drop weight to keep level? 195 x 3

Looks fine to me. Do you have a specific strength goal youโ€™re working towards?

Amazing posture broski! You look really strong. I would only suggest the angle to 45 degrees. Great job!

re-reading these comments ... man, a lot of BAD advice. most people here don't even know that this is a pendlay row. I'm not a form coach, but be wary with implementing any of the advice here. Watch Steve Shaw's form review on pendlay rows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEgK9gikRTM

No real advice... Once I got around 200lbs x 5 I realized I was just cheating more and more to move the weight. That's one thing I don't like about bb rows. I'm sure these work, but when I moved to db rows, cable rows, machine rows, etc, my lats blew up (and less stress on low back)

Looks great. Opening the chest a little, lifting it up a bit with your face straight might hit your muscles better.

If you are going for a bent over row, Iโ€™d lift to just above the knees. Will keep your back more activated throughout the full range of movement. It can also help avoid some of the lower body movement you get pulling from the floor

Less weight, more reps. More endurance. Great form! Now I just need to throw more plates on the bar.

I'm not exactly a row expert, but I use less knee hinge with the bar, go upright then slowly drop and lock myself into a sort of rdl. Bar drop is somewhere around my shin below the knee so it hangs at the bottom of the motion. Gives me room to tuck my elbows a bit more rearward on the pull.

If you rowed like this on a boat, the boat wouldnโ€™t move. Tells you everything you need to know.

He should modify his back and elbow angles and this is too heavy for doing this exercise
