This is a very good meme but this time I think they’re actually stabbing Europe and America itself is not harmed by the policy.

America is just embracing a new model where it does not have real allies and is more brutally transactional in the style of China. The one problem with this is that the U.S. is much smaller than China and does need alliances more than Beijing in my opinion.

Trump’s presidency might just be the wake-up call the world needed. 

People are chanting “America First,” unaware of its long-term consequences, the rest of the world is quietly moving on. 

Canada and Mexico are hedging their bets, Brazil is deepening ties with China, and the petrodollar’s grip is slipping as Russia, India, and the Gulf states diversify away from U.S. influence. 

Even Europe is recalibrating, watching as Washington alienates allies and undermines its own global standing. 

Trump/Musk chaotic diplomacy isn’t just burning bridges it’s accelerating the rise of a multipolar world where America is no longer the center of gravity. 

The best part, People are cheering, seeing transparency, change, DOGE oblivious to the fact that “America First” is actually America’s slow exit from the throne. 🍿 🍿

Think this is probably true. I read somewhere the view that the US is abdicating its role as the world’s leader, rather than being forced from it. 

It’s odd though, because there is much talk about containing China, but the actions are not this at all, they are more about withdrawing to distinct spheres of influence.

But there will be trouble because China also has aspirations to dominate the Pacific, and the US wants to minimise Sino influences on South America.

Props to Hedera for the Meow Wolf party tonight. 

This music area is starting to fill out but there are also lots of people upstairs at the bar and inside the main art experience. There's a solid line of people outside so I have no doubt things will be very packed soon enough....
