I don't know if people like Aaron, Wolfe, Khosla, etc... just have zero understanding of anything political or if they're trying to participate in a noble lie exercise. It's insane to think that any previous version of the democratic party and its underlying ideology just won't lead to today again.

Actually, you don't have to think about that. That very version of the democratic party is insane and after nearly a decade of Trump running and still not understanding that moment just shows total narcissism.

It's just insane that we could now end up in a world where someone who probably couldn't have become a district attorney without affirmative action could become the President of the United States.

What if Biden wakes up tomorrow and forgets that he dropped out?

When people talk about threat to democracy or institutions, what they mean is threat to democrats or democratically run institutions. 

When democrats storm the White House or try to jail their political opponent or stage a coup on their own candidate, this is good for democracy because it serves the democrat party.
