I made the mistake of ordering a drip coffee at Starbucks this morning It has gotten *so* bad — tasted like hot dishwasher I don’t know how a business can get to the point where its first product and core offering in the past can degrade so much

Absolute swill. I'm a snob when it comes to espresso. But honestly a regular black drip coffee is best from McDonald's imho. Dunkin is OK too.

I got one at the airport and was like, this is so bad. And then I felt awesome. And then I realize they just pack it with 2-3 times the caffeine of normal drip.

Our family has gone away from them as the coffee oftentimes taste burnt... Also, they only have minimal sugar free options when other local coffee shops have way better options. Considering this in the homeland of Starbucks (WA State) it's quite upsetting. We go to Dutch Bros and some others now. Cheaper and better.

Agreed, it's disappointing. Starbucks used to be known for quality. Maybe a shift in sourcing or preparation methods?
