Serious question: Do you know anybody “cool” who is anti-crypto? People who are charismatic, culturally with it, sociable, laid back, fun to be around? Or - hear me out - are anti-crypto people always uncool? I think the personality trait that makes you anti-crypto also makes you uncool.

my charismatic friends who don't directly work in crypto don't care about it at best and frown upon it at worst after 2 cycles of promises people just expect things to work and most of stuff still doesn't

nah this is incorrect imo. most "cool" people are neutral-to-against crypto, and most pro-crypto people are very uncool (see: CT neet incel crowd)

Generally, I think most people don't care enough to educate themselves on crypto so they usually follow the majority, which is to be neutral/tendency against.

I know one: male, Boomer, who I rate and like for various reasons but not all. 3x exited tech founder, gets stuff like Self-Organization, lives in nature in Italy etc. He HATES crypto calls it "devil" I only once mentioned bitcoin and web3, never again. He must have been indoctrinated by Munger 6 Co.

A large portion of people who are anti-crypto are brainwashed to think it is all just a ponzi scam. And haven’t thought enough about the power of decentralized assets and systems. The scams and grifters don’t help either.

i know a couple super smart and cool, theyre anticrypto because they are privileged and do not feel impacts of cross country transactions, inflation and do not wish for a better money system. i dont think they understand what crypto could be used for aside from gambling lmao.

Have a couple older ( 40-50yr) cool friends who just don't understand it (parties, yachts, travelers, sports fanatics, music adventurers, money peeps ).... I wouldn't say full anti but I've been to over 20 crypto conferences thru the years and they are generally a younger crowd..
