DeepSeek just accelerated all development timelines. We were settling into the “fact” this stuff was going to cost $100Bs to build, that it was going to be closed source. Monopolised. & then DeepSeek outperformed all leading models at fractions of cost And open sourced the tech Now any AI builder has access to the most powerful model. Truly a gift for open source, and even bigger one for AI development.

I just used Claude to create a Google Colab notebook that uses Llama 2 to create a synthetic text classification dataset that I will now use to fine-tune Bert for a specific use case I have in mind. We live in exciting times.

In my experience, there are very few journalists that are open-minded to crypto. They assume crypto = scam. Need more people like @laurashin and @mazmhussain who can have a fair / critical / balanced view. If you know open-minded journalists, happy to chat with them.
