DeepSeek just accelerated all development timelines. We were settling into the “fact” this stuff was going to cost $100Bs to build, that it was going to be closed source. Monopolised. & then DeepSeek outperformed all leading models at fractions of cost And open sourced the tech Now any AI builder has access to the most powerful model. Truly a gift for open source, and even bigger one for AI development.

It's amazing that Deepseek beat Chatgpt on the USA app store. Plus training ChatGPT costs over a 100 mil and Deepseek did it at 5.5 mil. And the fact that a few stock brokers who are great at math started it with a few extra GPU's they had is a story to be shared
