- start mobile first, then web, and desktop last
- use oz defender instead of opengsn
- audit v1 smart contracts more thoroughly 
- don't bother with tests for rapidly changing product areas

Farcaster the protocol sits below the filtering layer - it's a raw stream of all verified casts and actions from users. 

Apps have freedom to  apply filtering to the stream. Our app (confusingly also named Farcaster for now) does a simple reverse chron + threading feed.

Will we be able to see/control feed algorithms in FC or can that be done by building apps on top of base layer?

who are the showrunners and who’s playing the founding team?

decentralization enthusiast. dev @ TBD, focused on decentralized identity & individual privacy

Identity level compat is important - our fid is ERC-721 compatible and can be wrapped into a DID easily 

Application data level would be ideal but practically hard since apps have different goals (eg we care a ridiculous amount about size  of data and most VC impls don’t)

FC is bound to certain messaging types/formats but wants to be 'your identifier' - how will you interop with the broader data ecosystem

@sds has been pretty aggressive about keeping the backend lean and clean, I’d say we have maybe a tiny bit of clunky abstractions around the feed

Whats your biggest ambition for Farcaster?

Deep learning; quantitative finance; DeFi.

I won’t speculate too much on future, but right now our biggest problems aren’t going to be solved by launching a token

Why does Farcaster need / not need a native token?
