the easiest way to know if you're borrowing conviction is if you can't get yourself to buy something that's down 50%+ from the local top that's why copytrading will never work in the long run firmly believe it is better EV to just buy/hold BTC if you're going to copy trade in the trenches. you will end up chopping yourself up to 0

don't remember my runescape handle, but I spent a lot of time mining and smithing weapons to sell would save up to get rune gear only to head into the wildy and get PvP'd by a prayer monk runescape was the shit those mmorpg skills of grinding, avoiding scammers, and PvP directly translate to crypto in a strange way

6 months ago after our latest product flop I told @ace to go into the trenches with me and try to make money in order to really understand CT/trader/creator culture while we've had our fair share of wins and losses, the mission has always been to understand our audience at a deeper level to make better product decisions the thesis remains that the best way to build for your target user is to become them understand how they feel when they win, understand how they feel when they lose, understand what motivates them, and understand why they stick around

yeah trying to think critically about whether people would be ok with a higher trading fee if that meant a higher % chance of long term success of the project usually the most negative signal to a trader is when the dev or a big holder dumps, so this mechanism could prevent that and introduce buy pressure instead
