Will we be able to see/control feed algorithms in FC or can that be done by building apps on top of base layer?

Farcaster the protocol sits below the filtering layer - it's a raw stream of all verified casts and actions from users. Apps have freedom to apply filtering to the stream. Our app (confusingly also named Farcaster for now) does a simple reverse chron + threading feed.
