It's interesting that most SWE roles don't need algorithmic skills but the algorithmic questions still dominate interview questions, while most don't assess more practical skills like finding and selecting the right libraries to use.

If you have tried both, why Cursor > Github Copilot + VS Code?

What's your go-to "read later" app? I use Matter but starting to like it less due to delays and lost links.

One of the key obstacles for AI agents to integrate deeper into enterprise workflows are 1) lack of context files - much of real-time context lives in individuals' minds, and 2) interface for agents to interact with the world of bits and atoms in enterprise context.

Timeless gem from @cdixon.eth One thing I'd add now is that "Create a fault-tolerant UX" is now expanded to "Create a fault-tolerant code and UX". More focused your use cases are more fault-tolerant you can make them. https://cdixon.org/2015/02/01/the-ai-startup-idea-maze

In San Diego for a conference for the first time. Any restaurant I should check out? I went to Choi’s last night and it was pretty good.

GPT4 seems to do better job understanding tables given as text vs images (empirically). Is this your experience as well?

For those who are replacing/replaced, plastic water bottles with glass gallon bottles, what are you doing for the dispenser? So many of dispensers are made of plastic and even the most ceramic ones have the facet part plastic. Also ceramic seems to add odd residuals into the water.

When you talk to successful founders, they usually have simplistic view of the world and have substantive insights that are earned with own actions. When you talk to unsuccessful founders, they usually have sophisticated analysis over markets and products that are derived from info easily accessible.

It surprisingly feels good to give warps to useful casts esp frames that I end up using. This behavior is sticky for me so far in the past few weeks.

I think the next phase of LLM products is LLM + RAG but the retrieval system is personalized per user and behaves differently based on user preferences, social graph, etc. What are products doing this? Permissionless protocols like farcaster and bountycaster get really interesting in this context too.

OpenAI Assistant API + @bountycaster (as a function/tool) combo would be wild once there's large enough liquidity of talent.
