What matters most is how slides **cohere** into a persuasive story, with these essential elements: target customer, target customer problems, existing solutions, new proposed solution, value prop to target customer, competitive advantage, business model, KPIs, vision, team, ask.

In an early stage the slides for the team and the vision for the project. Sometimes less is more on these slides 1) on the team slide, show your most important value for the project and don't flex with logos of big companies where you did a 10-week internship 5y ago 2) Show a vision that suits the story of your pitch

This from sequoia pitch deck : https://www.slideshare.net/PitchDeckCoach/sequoia-capital-pitchdecktemplate Honestly, financial model at early stage are not that important (it has to many assumptions and generally wont represent reality)

Honestly don't really care abt financials for early stage (except runaway) Just want to genuinely understand the founder vision & product + GTM compared to competitors (if any)

4 slides: Problem: What needs to be fixed Solution: How Team: Why you? Market: Why now and what’s the potential? Together these should compel an investor to understand what’s the opportunity, why you’re uniquely suited to do it, why now is the right time and how it’ll get done.

Problem + Solution Be specific: Please try not to do moonshot questions... To be more specific... Make case studies and study your audience as a real entrepreneur Solution: Tailor solution to the values of your clients... NFTs are not needed if the client wants only to play the game...

Depending on the stage of company. Pre/seed/early it is all about team+problem solution. Series A/B/C…. It is more strategy, vision and operations to scale. In any case, as founder and also angel investor, I see more and more not relevant a single slide but the whole story I quickly extract from the whole deck.

I think the vision of the founder is the most important factor, how the founders perceive growing there empire, without the vision most early stage ideas are bound to fail
