Owning culture is often understood, in Web3, as managing private keys. Is that really it? Culture means more. Its mean connecting with systems of meanings other than those centered around private keys. Like this, for example: owning culture via private keys means owning being free!

That's interesting: being vague with ChatGPT rather than being very specific often yields better results. Glad someone has had the same experience! https://kenkantzer.com/lessons-after-a-half-billion-gpt-tokens

Value and price are not the same, although they are frequently used interchangeably lately. A view derived from Eugene Fama suggests prices reflect the amount of money for which an asset is bought/sold, while value is derived from an asset's intrinsic value.

Product features have been increasingly pitched as entire startups. Mergers like these may show startups developing features a viable way for how to become startups developing entire products: https://www.theblock.co/post/285020/fetch-ai-singularitynet-and-ocean-protocol-tokens-surge-amid-merger-plans

Open social network data are about more than interoperability and porting data. They should reveal actionable insights into when & how to change and leverage one's network structure: what ties to break, make, and activate. Academics collected networks data now free--missing has been what we *do* with that data 24/7.

Still trying to grok AO. Feels cool, and I love how it has some affinity with Urbit thinking https://ao.arweave.dev/

A friend asked: when to buy and sell? My answer: 1. Lifestyle preservation. Sell staking rewards, take profits on winners--lifestyle is first. 2. Wealth preservation. I don't sell BTC / ETH bc what's better to hold--fiat? No. 3. Wealth accumulation. Invest early-stage for long-, alts for short-term asymmetric rewards

Reading Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. The only novel ever to win the Hugo, Nebula, and Arthur C. Clarke awards. It's improving as I read, but much of the beginning is such a slog compared to, say, Banks' Culture series, or books like Cyteen by Cherry. Just me, or am I missing something?
