Honestly, financial model at early stage are not that important (it has to many assumptions and generally wont represent reality)

Traction != financials, but yes traction is important. VCs look for traction to reduce the risk of investment if you already have traction it becomes a much less risky investment. But Traction does not necessarily mean monetization.

thanks, I'd love for that to be true..but honestly, every VC we speak with, their main question is traction/financials even on early stage
