Flying sailplanes, when you have a negative vertical air speed zone (air going down) in thermal flight, it usually means, because of air convection, that you will reach a positive air speed zone (air going up) and that's what we use to gain altitude. The more down speed usually means the more up speed. If you enter a -1m/s zone, you will likely have a small +1m/s lift behind. But a -5m/s is usually the sign of a huge lift behind.

those guys scared us out of our startup idea back in 2022, when they launched the same idea we had won 'NFTHack' with earlier that year.
We were a bootstrapped team with about $5000 of hackathon money and hadn't raised money yet, and learned they had 8 million in funding and fucking Tom Brady on their team so we noped out with our tails between our legs.
...and now they've pivoted to a sports news app?! After not even launching the actual autograph app that would've been a banger if launched quickly during the NFT craze. 
(1 of 1 autographs were, IMO, one of the only real, practical use cases for NFTS).

Shit, I would've known they were gonna throw in the towel and I'dve continued developing our app, Ink.

Not trying to make a point or anything- if anything, I feel dumb for giving up, but just wanted to share since its baffling to me what a missed opportunity this was.

Whiskies tasting at my wine shop. 5 bottles, French, Irish, Japanese and two Scotch. Blends and single cask. Peated or not. All very good and interesting. Very intense aroma and very long in mouth. My fav was the Irish triple distilled and the Irish peated one.
