Messing around after workout. snatch grip deadlift 185kg (407lb) At less than 86kg bw (189lb) 50 yr in 2 months. Getting ready!

There are a few loading protocols. I took the long route 5g / day for duration. Takes about 20 days to load. I didnt try the mega loading protocol: 20g / day for 5 days then switch to 5g / day.

Yes, it’s been studied heavily and continues to show benefits. It can irritate the gut. I take 5g daily. I add to a liter or more water and drink through out the day.

So true the weight scale is a very limiting tool. Also, not all fat is the same, visceral fat seems to be very bad. That in mind, I get a DEXA to confirm I’m losing visceral fat.

I use morpheus to track weekly high intensity (red) and zone 2 (blue) I go into the green a little bit in zone 2. I’ve tested my max HR so it’s set correctly in Morpheus.

Very hard to jog and stay in zone 2. I walk on treadmill and row. I can keep my heart rate constant and there is very little friction to getting the work in. I use heart rate as a proxy.
