I need some zone 2 tips. Every time I try I'm either in 1 (fast walking with my dog) or in 3 or 4 if I jog, but can never keep it in zone 2. What activities can I try or tips to get my running to stay down in zone 2 and not elevate?

Very hard to jog and stay in zone 2. I walk on treadmill and row. I can keep my heart rate constant and there is very little friction to getting the work in. I use heart rate as a proxy.

walking never gets me into zone 2, but are you saying rowing you just slow down or take a break if you get into zone 3 and wait for it to come back down to continue activity? may need to try that with jogging and walking (tho itd be annoying to constantly stare at my phone on a run haha)
