need a laptop to buy (and then return) while my thinkpad is in service what should i try? requirement: should NOT be heavier than thinkpad x1 carbon gen 10 (~1.12kg) + 13-14" display, durable and premium feel, min 32gb ram and before you suggest: macbooks are all heavier than this

Stated preference vs revealed preference, it’s a magical concept. The key is to always listen to the actions and not the words. Today @dwr.eth unfollowed me because I dared question the value of coinbase. While I never came here for followers, I did come here because of Dan and his vision, I was bought in, and the unfollow represents a clearly revealed preference. I no longer believe social has a place in this world, it’s a race to the bottom. The primitives of social are valuable but they are no longer rare or unique nor are they even that difficult to recreate. The community is difficult, but that stopped being awesome around Farcon 2 when the bots began to take over. My only question now is what to do with my account? It’s listed for sale, but I wonder if Merkel would prefer I give it to a sock puppet or bot farm account, clanker 2? I imagine the VCs are getting a bit chippy at the adoption curve, gotta feed the machine and all

Client diversity is in a much better place now with recaster, herocast and now base joining the ecosystem. Our focus this year is shifting to growing protocol DAU. We reached out to woj and asked if he would be excited to do this with and he said yes! We’ll miss having woj working on Super, but we’re very excited that he's is going to be waking up every day thinking about how to get more people on Farcaster.

Anyone remember ex.fm back in the day? A chrome extension that follows you around the web and lets you play music from tumblr, SoundCloud, etc and collect it to your library. Feels like it would be cool to reimagine this with web3 rails.

i always said once i learn to code, it's game over. turns out, i don't need to learn to code. with Ohara (ohara.ai), anyone (including me) can easily turn any idea into an app on crypto rails, complete with Privy's embedded wallets. now i know my weekend plans :)
