no clear path for developers to go through all of the legos. They are all different standards of technologies across the stack to build full no farcaster native apps that use all of them (cast action, composer action, frames v2 are all different technologies with next to no unification) I look forward to it being unified so devs grok FC fast and we get way better apps way faster less friction to build -> more builds -> better apps -> more to do

Not really a frustration per se, but I think the team has a tendency to communicate features and roadmaps as if they are communicating to devs and this can be alienating and misunderstood by non-dev users

community out reach. unpredictable events. no idea who to trust. need centralization or official ambassadors... or an actual conversation. maybe its happening but i do not see it. lack of fluidity in any reoccuring culture is an interesting variable. rip farcon la.

Not sure what is the solution, but I feel the current FC direction only appeals to a specific niche and creates a big bubble. Most of my friends that joined FC bcs of me were not using it after a week, because they didn’t find interesting people (for their taste), even after asking them to follow channels. Im convinced that the direction of “earn and make friends” will also not appeal to most of the public. I mentioned this here too: https://warpcast.com/ferran/0xca5e4735

two things: 1- 'fix' the factory so all the sdks built on top of if can update profile data. no privy apps are able to update profile data because of this 2- app namespaces, via that verification of signature's v mentioned during last dev call

I really believe that animated PFP brought a lot of interest to WC. It was the first thing that caught my attention when I joined. If it's not an impossibly hard thing to implement, why don't you?

Not being able to set a primary wallet. I want more wallets, but I don’t do it because I do not know which wallet is the one apps / frames etc pick up.

I get annoyed with the text input on mobile. Sometimes I will be tying and the keyboard will disappear. Sometimes I will try to @-mention someone and it will print their name twice and I have to fumble around with my fat fingers.

I know this is probably super minuscule, but I don’t like the fact that the NFTs tab in our profiles was switched out with Starter Packs. Can we have an option to display one or the other or maybe both? As an artist I was using the NFTs tab a lot. I know other artists would agree with me too.

the barrier for apps (especially frames) to write back to the network is too high i would make a cast intent accessible from within frames, similar to viewProfile i'm excited about the prospect of app keys going on snapchain and becoming free. with that being said there's also a big opportunity to overhaul the way app keys work with snapchain. would love to see the following - ability for frames to easily get write access - ability for signers to expire (by default preferably) - ability to revoke a signer without deleting all messages (this is not intuitive behaviour) - bonus: only write specific types of messages (e.g. user data, reactions, casts, links) and maybe the ability to write x times per day

the last farcaster dev call that was uploaded to youtube was over 2 months ago. it kinda sucks that you have to be able to tune in live otherwise you miss a bunch of important ecosystem news and heads up about stuff relevant to building on farcaster would appreciate it if the recordings would be uploaded more reliably https://www.youtube.com/@farcasterxyz/videos

I’ve always struggled with discovery here - I get the sense that there are interesting conversations happening somewhere on fc, but for some reason I can’t find them. I also feel like posting here is tough - my posts don’t always find the right audience the same way they do on twitter Idk specifically what might solve this but it’s been my personal challenge here — I know there are gems being shared but I can’t seem to find them as easily as I’d like

There isn't really a good way to report bugs, other than by casting about it and tagging you and/or @v, then hoping you'll notice. I'd love to see a more official process for reporting problems in both Warpcast and Farcaster.
