community out reach. unpredictable events. no idea who to trust. need centralization or official ambassadors... or an actual conversation. maybe its happening but i do not see it. lack of fluidity in any reoccuring culture is an interesting variable. rip farcon la.

Can you expand on this? re: FarCon -- we had it in Boston v1, LA for v2, now NY for v3. Each time it was someone on the network that decided to spearhead it. It's not a centralized or "official" conference.
