A small selection of the nearly 200 artists, projects and participants that will be part of CTM Festival's upcoming 2025 edition - ten days of multi-perspective experiences, critical reflection, collaborative learning & hedonism. This will be my 14th edition as a co-curator and my 19th edition as a guest, meaning I spent the majority of my adult life in the CTM continuum, from skipping past security as a broke student to attend the first time, to working the merch stand, to being part of the team. It means a lot to me. Please buy a ticket - festival passes are just 190€ and individual nights cost often less than a single concert on any given day in the same venue. A fantastic album of contemporary Chinese electronic music by Wang Yi aka 王懿EAU called "异响” (Sonic Anomaly) that came out very recently. Femme Bass Mafia girl boss Xades has an incredible, vocal-heavy debut EP out & Emika is back with a new album. Berlin's Metarave are showcasing the cutting edge Latinx rave continuum that they occupy & Samurai Music dropped a weighty deep-dive into their dystopian take on DnB & Jungle. Another highlight: Blanc Manioc's overview on whats happening in Abidjan. Phasmid's EP has been in my rotation for a while & Scuffed has peak club material by Pépe for us.
