If you are normally a red wine drinker, do you keep drinking red during the summer or do you switch over to whites/rose/orange wines?

rosé, mostly though it's because other people want it never white though unless it's the only option (always leaves me feeling groggy the next day)

Still red but I pour a little cold grape soda in there for the season. 🍷

Discover chilled red, then lambrusco. Spend twice but now you are addicted to lombrusco

I know it’s anathema but hear me out… Chilled sparkling Shiraz. Delish for summer. It’s an Australian specialty 🍷 That, or red wine sangria with lots of fruit and ice.

I definitely gravitate towards lighter reds in summertime. Italian varietals like sangiovese and nebbiolo. Also some beaujoulais, younger pinots. New world reds from the southern hemisphere take some traditionally heavier red varietals and lower the tannins making them solid summer reds. Chilean cabs come to mind.
