a real problem crypto can solve is treasury mgmt for localized irl groups like, e.g. community gardens, mutual aid groups, etc. these are essentially "microdaos" that exist in the real world but are operating with subpar economic infra today

Yeah. Tried to make a community p2p lending pool at one point. Besides my own failings, I found almost no overlap on the Venn diagram between the crypto-pilled and ppl interested in community gardens and mutual aid groups (yet?)

Many such cases. We use โpoolsโ in farming where our fruit is bundled at the packing house with other farmers. Pools are assigned almost immediately but we wait many more months to get paid. A tokenized pool would let us borrow against our future payments, buy & sell into different pools for diversification and build a whole economic layer on top of the pool.
