Q: If you are in crypto trading / holding for profit, not only as utility - how do market conditions affect your mental health?

My answer...
1. Not much for trading.
2. A bit for holding.

On the trading front, I play with small trades, nearly 100% as a form of experimentation and learning. I usually lose a bit of money, and occasionally get a big win. I mentally write off everything before I trade, so it's not a big deal. I also don't trade for profit frequently as it's not a game I find myself aligned with or am particular skilled at.

When it comes to holding for profit, I hold in tokens with projects I believe in. So market volatility does affect my net worth more than I'd like. To deal with this, I have certain rules I set for myself (ex. take at least $3k of profit every month) that help me hedge against the ups and downs.

On top of all of this, I naturally think in longer time horizons, so day to day waves don't phase me as much as, for example, technological breakthroughs or secular shifts.
