Hi Casters. In a couple weeks I’ll be moving to Japan for about 3 months, mostly staying in Tokyo but will be around Kyoto and other cities prolly as well for a few wild. Please shill me all your recommendations for food, things to do/see, etc!

This retreat is happening just south of Tokyo at the beginning of October, led by a personal teacher of mine. I'll be there if I get a sudden influx of money. eat unagi eel fresh from Lake Hamana near Hamamatsu when you travel between Tokyo and Kyoto. for some alt experience: visit tent cities in ueno or yoyogi parks in Tokyo and chat with the homeless. It was (2001) deeply humbling and inspirational, and prolly still very different then the scenes in SFO.

For food ,you can try out UNAGI as starters you are gonna like it.. Then for fun, what are the things you will like to do.. You can visit ishigaki beach ,you’d love it ..
