Hi Casters. In a couple weeks I’ll be moving to Japan for about 3 months, mostly staying in Tokyo but will be around Kyoto and other cities prolly as well for a few wild. Please shill me all your recommendations for food, things to do/see, etc!

eat unagi eel fresh from Lake Hamana near Hamamatsu when you travel between Tokyo and Kyoto.

for some alt experience: visit tent cities in ueno or yoyogi parks in Tokyo and chat with the homeless. It was (2001) deeply humbling and inspirational, and prolly still very different then the scenes in SFO.
