i genuinely believe warpcast has a shot at changing social media.
i've been testing anything i could get my hands on since i was a teenager. back then, i was sold on the idea of having full control over my data. with age, though, iāve become a little less idealistic.
i still remember 2014, when ello.co came out. it made a lot of noise, and i wanted to believe. i was super active. some of my posts even went viral. it felt like it had potential. but then it pivoted into an artist-focused platform and quietly faded away.
what i love about warpcast is how diverse the content is. dev talk, memes, art, tech, travel, itās all here. and while the feed doesnāt feel as curated as twitter or instagram (maybe just not enough volume yet?), thereās something else: people are actually enjoying it. not chasing incentives. not pretending. just showing up and vibing.
that's rare. 22 replies

On a mission to increase distribution for onchain products and help creators go viral, weāre excited to launch the āCoin Your Creativityā campaign!
Calling all content creators! Create highly creative content about any project on @base, coin it on @zora, share it on X and @warpcast, tagging the project and Based Africa (@baseafricaa on X), along with the hashtag #CoinYourCreativity25.
Weāll be selecting 10 outstanding and highly creative pieces, to share a $150 prize pool.
P.S.: Content can be in any form, written pieces, graphics, videos, art, music, etc. Just unleash your creativity!
This campaign will run for two weeks, and winners will be announced on April 7.

Finished my 30 day experiment posting on Zora, TLDR, I made 0.900648 ETH (~$1816)
I made 32 posts, about one a day, and the majority of the money came from two posts:
+ This post is a coin
+ Choppers
I didn't shill either of these posts (or any of them for that matter), it all happened organically; the first one, "This post is a coin", I shared on X when Zora announced the new Coin featureādescribing the featureāand the second one, I didn't share anywhere at all
This money accumulated mainly from trading and market rewards from the two above posts going viral and giving me a share of the trading fees
Both of those posts were made late-night US/PT time, I'm not sure how much that played into it or if just a coincidence but thought it was worth noting; beyond that, it definitely seems like there is a kind of meme/speculative theme that increases the chances of a post going viralāwho doesn't like coins and helicopters :) 10 replies
