Biggest W of the latest /nook changes is our web and native apps are a single codebase now. We’ve had patterns to set up new backend services quickly and now we can build cross-platform features quickly.

Building in public is the fun part. I don't want to work in stealth. You'll see us get a lot of things wrong (we already have!), but that only helps us in iterating quicker. Appreciate everyone following along with us :)

As part of this we’re deprecating all custom feeds. We’ve found most people are using them as lists so instead we’re adding a lists feature that we can integrate throughout the app in a better and more performant way. There’s more to that, but I’ll leave that for tomorrow :)

Planning on launching the updated version of @nook tomorrow. It feels much smoother and faster with a lot of the bugs from the current version fixed. Please share any other feedback so we can incorporate it into the launch!

IMO Twitter-clone itself is not an opportunity for Farcaster. Genuinely believe Warpcast won’t be what significantly grows Farcaster, something fundamentally different from what has existed before will. That’s the client opportunity. That’s why we’re experimenting with a client.

Most of the times I post we’re launching something on X date, we haven’t even started on it. Helps combat the tendency to make things perfect and just ship by any means necessary. That said, we’re redesigning the /nook mobile app from scratch to launch by the end of the week - simpler, faster, and more onchain.
