It bothers me seeing people asking for a polymarket on base. Just go use polymarket, the whole point of building consumer-friendly apps is the chain literally should not matter. Biases are showing.

Guarantee engagement goes up if there was a reverse chron feed in Warpcast. Most of my algo feed is posts from 1+ days ago, I literally can’t keep up with what people are saying on Warpcast. Even if fewer people use it, I assume getting quicker engagement on casts would help distribute them to algo feeds quicker.

Combination of new channel + narrowcasts only + only allow me to post is interesting. Feels special having a smaller place within Farcaster to broadcast thoughts only to the real ones. Currently using the streak banner on my profile as the discovery mechanism.

Being more "normal" is good, but personally I have this already: IRL, group chats, instagram, etc. My social circle doesn't care about tech or crypto. Farcaster is interesting to me for this reason. I'm excited to share stuff about crypto and what I'm working on because the enthusiasm is reciprocated here.

A lot of people in crypto act like everything that has been built up until now is set in stone. Standards that have been set are meant to be broken as we scale up to support new innovations. Immediate thing that comes to mind is the NFT metadata standard that OpenSea set years ago.

One non-bot user found the cast yesterday even though it was a narrowcast in a new channel, seems like narrowcasts leak out sometimes, possibly a bug 🤔
