Some Friday night alpha. As part of this migration, I rebuilt the zk circuits from scratch so all proofs are being generated directly against onchain state. No more merkle trees. This means we can generate credentials for any piece of onchain data, starting with more ERC20 token balances very soon.

New credentials system is now live on @anoncast! You can generate anonymous credentials for any balance amount of ANON. The credentials attached to posts are public and visible on anoncast.org. Once stable, we'll expand to support generating credentials for any token.

Posting on @anoncast just got easier. We now create a SIWE session that gets re-used for proof generation. This means you don't have to constantly sign messages in your wallet every time you want to post something, as long as the session is still alive. TL;DR: Sign once, post as much as you want

X is just broken beyond belief right now lol. All posts are making it to user's feeds (they're getting likes), but don't show up on the @anoncast profile. HOWEVER, the posts do sometimes show up under the Replies tab, even though they aren't replies 😂

We don't want the main @anoncast account's visibility reduced, so we have made the following changes: - The raw anon cast feed is now at @rawanon - The curated anon cast feed is now at @anoncast Unfortunately, a few people had to ruin it for the rest. But we solve problems as they come up and keep experimenting 🫡
