I turned my kid’s bedroom into a blackhole - zero light to be found anywhere. Heavy blackouts, every little light taped off (eg fire alarm)… you can’t even see your own hand. And it worked! Highly recommend if you’re having trouble getting your little human to nap/sleep.

Blackout curtains are a real game changer, although we’ve come full circle in a way where we put up glow in the dark stars with a nightlight because she got scared of the complete darkness

The sleep struggle is real!! The room-sized sleep mask is the way.

Interesting. How old? Not scared of the dark?

It’s crazy how much this applies to adults as well, any little bit of light has pretty drastic effects. An eye mask can make a world of a difference even if it falls off after you fall asleep

It is a good solution. I still sleep totally in the dark, any kind of light or sound wakes me up. When I was little, my mother had to cover a glass in my bedroom door with black cardboard so I could sleep.
