Been watching Band Of Brothers again, and: 1) it’s a masterpiece 2) it shows how brutal things can get I think once the generation that fought WW2 passed, our collective memory of past atrocities was lost If we don’t re-sensitize to cruelty and veer away from it now, I worry that we’ll have to learn the lessons of war again
