yup, this was 2006! back when I was a bedroom DJ for fun

co-host of /music // musician + dj // photographer // internet money // venture curious // cars // inside wireman

I was trying to be a turntablist so it was a lot of hip hop singles + break beat records!

Some favorites were:

- Raida's Theme (single)
- Animal Crackers – Vanilla Haters : Break Neck Volume 2
- Lazy Hand Leroy & Cool Hand Luke

I had maybe two dozen records, not a lot as I was a broke high school kid. I got a tiny bit of beat juggling down but ultimately gave up the hobby when I couldn't get crab scratching down haha

Nope! Last time I did it was maybe 2007. Kept my turntables until I graduated college in 2013.

I tried revisiting music production later years but never stuck to it, didn't come naturally and I didn't put much time into learning haha

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

I wish I remember, but likely two hip hop instrumentals. Two of my friends (one pictured in the back) had an impromptu rap battle

back when i was spinning different kind of charts... market moves have their own rhythm too ☁️

Must have been a cool past to look back onto!!
