I’ve been doing crypto podcasts & articles for 4 years & I’ve never felt this disheartened. A lot of negativity. Not just twitter. It’s leaked into my discord groups & private messages. Idk - it just wears on you. Really struggling to find energy to do this anymore. I started Bankless because it was fun.

When I need energy I enter experimental mode. Only do things that you find interesting, fun or weird. That could be a fun mode to try on for Bankless for the first month or so. Break out of the routine and follow the fun. Go onchain only, no segments you don't want to do, etc etc Enter the FAFO Zone:

This is a safe space to share, build and innovate. I personally admire the work you guys put in at Bankless, your products and services and community. It was one of the first places I went to when I started my crypto journey so thanks for everything and keep doing the good work. The space needs guys like you.

I’m grateful for you sharing so candidly - you’ll find a lot less negativity & more support here The whole crypto space does feel more mired in a zero-sum mindset than it did in previous cycles. Maybe we’re all feeling the walls closing in, as opposed to when the whole space was hopeful it could change the world

Twitter has been invaded by toxic moonboys. I was part of the class of 2021, and being a Bankless sub has been by far the best investment I've made. Hope you can filter out the noise - hanging out here might be a good start!

Bankless has one of the best signal-to-noise ratios in the crypto media landscape. The bloodsport of Twitter is designed to drag you in. Turn off replies and go into broadcast-only mode, and put out a takes episode when you have something to say rather than going PvP on X.

This made me realize that even though I’ve listened to you SO much and appreciated you SO much I have never given you any feedback whatsoever. So: I think you are AWESOME! And you have no obligation to consume all of the negativity.

You guys release content at an insane pace. Maybe it’s time to slow things down a bit? For your own mental health.

If it weren’t for Bankless and specifically YOU, I would not be here. I learned the true importance of crypto, it has so much more than speculation. But I would not have stayed with Bankless without YOU. I enjoy David’s energy but I relate to you. Please keep it up. It’s just that part of the cycle.

What you experience is not related to crypto. It's because of social (over?) exposure. Been there, and did not handle it well. If I could do it again, I'd keep doing the creative part (podcast in your case) and add a lot of friction for feedback to reach me. No twitter, no blog comments.

I wouldn’t be where I am today in crypto without Bankless. Thank you for all you do. I’m a Bankless citizen because I appreciate you and want to support you.

Got into crypto to avoid FOMO but Bankless made me realize how it intersects with my interests in technology, economics, politics, philosophy… Listening to Bankless is the most intellectually stimulating part of my day and I’d miss it dearly if you stopped. You are the hero crypto needs, not the one it deserves!

You guys are great, anyone with half a brain can see how much of a net positive Bankless is for the space. Bankless is near perfect and honestly it’s insane you guys control so much mindshare vs the countless crypto villains who could’ve ended up with it. Honestly a miracle, please keep going.

Get your love and energy from friends and family. It’s the only way to survive in media. And don’t read the comments, or at least do so with a hefty dose of detachment (and regular talk therapy).

This makes me sad. You’ve brought so much good to the crypto world. Take some time over the holidays to digitally detox and get in a new frame of mind. And probably it’s time to ditch Twitter. It’s mainly toxic weirdos at this point.
