I just went running around Lake Merritt in Oakland. For some reason I decided not to wear my usual earbuds, so as I passed the playground on the north side, I could hear the small voice screaming: "higher! higher!" I stopped, turned, and saw this boy, propelled by his father, speaking for us all.

Seeing @farcaster / @base / $degen right now is like watching a timelapse of a forest growing. Every tree forking & branching, dropping pine cones, & intertwining roots with the others to share nutrients. Some trees fall, others grow ↑ higher out of the fallen. Everyone is co-evolving and it is so beautiful. 🌲

I am under the impression that Chia NFTs enforce royalties on-chain. But I feel like no one ever talks about this. Do I understand this correctly? Is there some catch, or reason why this isn't a huge deal? How unique is this capability? Trying to understand why this isn't getting more attention...

Should I go down the restaking rabbit hole? Seems very important for yield or understanding Ethereum security. But in 10 years will it have changed the world in any profound/interesting way, or will it just be boring defi infrastructure? Kinda feel like it’s the latter: a skippable rabbit hole. Convince me otherwise?
