rewards for doing great work shouldn't exclusively depend on votes. there's always going to be a place for nouners to decide flows, but ultimately it's a zero-sum attention game prone to collusion and apathy. builder upside should be based in positive sum things that grow the entire flows pie for everyone stuff like matching pools that incentivize flow level fundraising / zora mints of compiled impact etc. any fun ideas on this front?

basically flows is zero sum right now, people are competing with each other to earn a permanently fixed budget. no one is doing anything wrong, that's just their current incentive. we need to design a higher level game for people to play that gets more folks to work together, and grow the pie for everyone in the process.

any ideas @skateboard @bixbite @noun40 @gem6911 @coolbeans1r.eth @4156 i'm big on rev-share with treasury to earn you votes (from product sales/mints etc.), could match the top earners with a matching pool, just wonder how many flow recipients will be able to do this is the thing

it's like if we ran a vc firm where the entrepreneurs had no upside outside of a fix budget that the firm was paying out to them every year lol nouners should be able to vote and take bets on builders and give them more funding, but the system rn is completely capped, working on fixing this

Some form of roi for specific flows could be required. Would incentivize others to share other people’s work, if they knew their flow could be impacted by my physical item sales, for example. Gets tricky when you start to think about amount of roi, comparing people’s reach... at what point does someone not need flows and become sustainable? Etc

Simplest I can think of is a multiplier based on score, that way perhaps you could also get less than your monthly if your not hitting a min req
