note that degenerates have a sampling bias as much as the social network algos have to use engagement as a metric. I'm optimistic that more useful stuff will pop up on base, considering all the UX streamling -> community ideation

I disagree. Crypto has the same people that you find in society. Crypto does not, anymore than any other corner of society exist as a eutopia or a hellscape.

Respectfully disagree. Much of crypto culture is downstream from incentives. If you build casino-like incentives you'd get a degenerate culture. It's not easy to build an alternative to shift the culture bc of the economic pull of the existing system, but ITS POSSIBLE - and we need you to keep pushing in that direction

As long as profit rules the world, as long as the ruling ideology pushes profit, consumerism, etc as main goal with a new makeup every time some peace of capitalism falls apart, no matter how good or promising the tech is, it will all end up in shaping into financial degeneracy.
