This comment is way too important to be stuck on Warpcast. This is the single largest problem that cryptocurrency has.

I have a modest proposal for the crypto community Stop listing meme tokens on CEXs, stop listing them on token tracking sites, stop allowing them on frontends. Exception for lindy proof-of-work meme coins like DOGE that have a good distribution and support a miner network.

A big problem in decentralized AI is we don't actually want to create a world in which you can compute any function you like in a censorship resistant way. Being able to compute any function you like opens up the grand payoff matrix of the world to lots of lose-lose equilibria.

A smart contract on Ethereum that had a trustless ZK-snark bridge to Filecoin and would asynchronously store and retrieve data seems like it would be very useful. Ethereum blobs at 2MB/block and 7000 blocks/day is 420GB/month. All that stuff could be automatically archived for an extremely low cost.

Seems like the answer to this is probably a Gnosis L2 with Gnosis as DA, @koeppelmann.eth suggests that Gnosis L2 can get 1000TPS using Gnosis itself as the data availability layer, which is probably a significantly better quality of decentralization than Arbitrum Nova. Other opinions would be appreciated!

We need Kardashev-I-grade civilizational infrastructure for governance of AI -- no humans in the loop -- mathematical proof of optimal governance decisions (in expectation) -- no core dependency on the legacy legal system -- onchain proof of compliance -- anyone can become a citizen/voter

Pinging a few experts here: @ansgar.eth @polynya @sassal.eth @bfresh What's the absolute lowest cost per tx/highest potential throughput chain in the Ethereum ecosystem? Some brief research indicates that Arbitrum AnyTrust/Arbitrum Nova is the cheapest you can get, with sub-1¢ transactions on Nova.

The name "Cryptocurrency" is a misnomer. Cryptocurrencies are not actually currencies, even though they are based on cryptography rather than violence. They're crypto-based versions of precious metals, bonds and stocks. They should actually be called Cryptometals and Cryptobonds and Cryptostocks.

There should probably be a prediction market for the ETHBTC price 3, 6, 12 and 24 months out conditional on various core protocol parameters such as the gas per block. @vitalik.eth - great usecase for futarchy https://twitter.com/econoar/status/1770136717401419859?t=KzWBvRN3_OwsLN-xRsVG9g&s=19
