Is there anything unique about your hometown that you took for granted while growing up?

Carmel, CA… Really beautiful nature, I didn’t realize it wasn’t typical until I lived elsewhere. Luckily I come back here often.

Toronto's parks are *far* better than those of most other cities I've been to. Singapore and SF are up there too though.

Don’t really feel like I had a hometown, but one where I spent some formative years: Columbus, IN, USA “A city of over 47,000, yet The American Institute of Architects ranked it 6th in the nation for architectural innovation and design – right behind Chicago, New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Washington, D.

Art everywhere. Even if it wasn’t my cup of tea, it was an acknowledgement that this is part of what makes culture/society whole.

still in my hometown but noticed that I’ve been taking the peace and nature that surrounds this village for granted and now whenever I look at the environment I’m just grateful. Also the safety is a big plus.
